ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY and GREEN TOURISM

Argaty Red kite Project aims to integrate, raise awareness of and promote nature conservation in its day-to-day activities and is committed to good environmental practice in all its operations.
We aim
To protect, restore and manage important habitats and to put wildlife at the heart of farming;
To inspire visitors to support conservation by sharing our enthusiasm, knowledge and commitment to saving wildlife and the environment;
To be committed to the sustainable development of the project in the future.
To demonstrate the project’s green credentials in minimising its impact on the environment and operating more efficiently.
To help us further these aims, we - along with the other partners in the Trossachs Bird of Prey Trail - are working towards accreditation with Visit Scotland's Green Tourism Business Scheme.
